Valentines Day is fast approaching – 14th February for those of you who are unsure!
It’s a Sunday this year – and bookings are filling up so give us a call on 0131 221 9779 to book your table. Alternatively, you can also book a table online.
We’re also here Saturday 13th – so if Sunday doesn’t suit – why not have a Valentines treat a day early and book Edinburgh’s finest Curry Restaurant for the Saturday night.

Come and enjoy this special time with us – we have a great range of wines if you want to add that extra touch of class to your meal – and will be happy to recommend a bottle that suits whatever meal you choose.

Food recommendations can be difficult – we think all our dishes are hard to beat – but these are three the dishes our customers – you the paying public – enjoy and order most.
Chicken Tikka Masala

Often called Britain’s favourite curry dish – and allegedly with origins from the early 1500s when a descendant of Genghis Khan decided he was fed up choking on chicken bones and had his chefs remove them before cooking. Our version features chicken cooked in the tandoor on skewers – and then enveloped in a lovely curry sauce.
North Indian Chilli Garlic Chicken

There is no denying that this is a hot and spicy dish – and maybe not one for the beginner – but if you like your food full of flavour – this is the curry for you. The clue to the ingredients is in the name – and the addition of lovely fresh coriander ensures this will warm you during this cold weather.
Balti Kashmiri Chicken Murgh Makhani

This is a lovely mild dish. The pieces of chicken are barbecued in the tandoor and then enveloped in a sauce of banana, lychee pineapple and almonds. A gentle dish – creamy and satisfying.
Guru Special Naan

If we can make one recommendation though – accompany any of these with our Guru Special Naan. One of our classic oversized naan breads smeared with lovely fresh buttery garlic and coriander.

Wow – what lovely snow – the city has been looking an absolute picture.
With this weather predicted to last it looks like we’re all going to be slipping and sliding for a while yet!
Rather than struggling down to the supermarket why don’t you enjoy snowball fights and making snowmen.
We’re still delivering our fantastically warming dishes to your door – so just give us a quick call on 0131 221 9779 and when you want to retreat in from the cold you can warm up quickly with a balti curry and naan.

One of the first things you will notice when you come to see us it that our portions are larger than other restaurants. We know you are going to love our food – so giving you more to start with means you are going to be delighted.
Not only are our dishes large though – our naans are likely to be the biggest you have seen. All this means to you is even more lovely fluffy bread to help soak up all the goodness of your meal – awesome.

With James Cameron’s return to cinema with his new 3D blockbuster, Avatar, now screening at Cineworld – why not pop in for a curry before or after the film?
We’re just across the road from Cineworld cinema complex at Fountain Park– and we know that our food is better than anything in the complex.
We’re here from Tuesday to Sunday from 5pm to 11pm so come and enjoy a quick curry before going to see the latest blockbuster, or come and see us after seeing something more art-house and discuss those plot holes over a naan.

This is a recent photo from our restaurant – a young lad celebrating his 18th Birthday with his first legal drink. This lad has opted for a quick shot of tequila – his more discerning friends have ordered Kingfisher – one of India’s great lagers – and available here on tap.
We love Birthdays – and are always happy to help you celebrate yours. We can recommend dishes to suit all comers – and with our range of vegetarian or meat dishes even the more fussy eaters will be able to find a dish to enjoy!
If you want to lay on a specific banquet – just discuss your requirements with us – and we’ll give you the perfect birthday treat.
Give us a quick call on 0131 221 9779 to reserve a table and we’ll make sure your party goes with a bang!
